Information about lost property will stay put up for six weeks. If no rights are claimed up to the expiry date of the announcement by authorized recipients, the lost property is either destroyed or supplied to other utilization (as defined by the principles for the treatment of lost property from 26th of June 2013).

Other options:

Your lost property was not at the lost-property office? Often, lost property is kept directly where it was first delivered. This could be at the canteen, the TUM Branch Library Life Sciences, ITW’s helpdesk or at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT).

If lost property was not picked up there, after several weeks or months it is usually brought to the official lost-property office at the post office.
