EFI
The European Forest Institute is an international organisation established by European States. It is the leading institution conducting and advocating forest research and facilitating forest research networking at the pan-European level. It is an acknowledged provider of and a major contact point for unbiased, policy-relevant information on European forests and forestry.
ICA
In 1988 the Interfaculty Committee Agraria was formed to facilitate co-operation between faculties of agriculture in European universities. This organisation was re-constituted as the Inter-university Conference for Agriculture and Related Sciences in Europe (ICA) in 1996. The association brings together institutions in member states of the European Union and countries of Eastern and Central Europe. In 1999 70 higher education institutions from all over Europe are members of ICA. In 2002 the organisation's name was changed into "Interuniversity Consortium for Agricultural and Related Sciences in Europe", in 2006 into "Association for European Life Science universities - ICA"
IFSA
The International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) is the global network for students in forest sciences. It unites approximately 3000 students in about 69 member associations (called Local Committees) in over 40 countries. IFSA is a non-governmental, non for profit and non religious organisation entirely run by students for students.
