Englisch fur
Biowissenschaftler/English presentation skills: Seminars in chemical
biology
The main purpose of this course is to improve on giving scientific
presentations in English. In the first four lectures, you will learn
how to use verbal and non-verbal communication, how to deal with
tension, how to design slides and graphics, and how to structure a
presentation. In the remaining part of the course, you will practice
these new skills. Besides the training in giving a presentation, you
will get an overview of the
field of chemical biology, which will be the topic of all
practice-lectures.
This summer semester course starts on April 25, 2012. This semester,
the course takes place
on WEDNESDAYS from 3-5 pm at U/1.04 at building ZIEL II,
Weihenstephaner
Berg 3, Freising. Please note that there is a minimum amount of 8 and a
maximum of 12 students. Registration at TUMonline, course-number:
